Carlos and Mario Brüggemann to acquire Acierto.com from Bauer Media Group in Spain

Hamburg/Madrid, 5 December 2024 – Carlos and Mario Brüggemann and Bauer Media Group (“Bauer Media” or “the Group”) today announced that Carlos and Mario Brüggemann, co-founders of Acierto.com entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the business from Bauer Media. Acierto.com is a leading online comparison platform (OCP) business focused on helping customers across Spain to save time and money on insurance and loans.

Carlos and Mario Brüggemann, said “We are pleased to rejoin an organisation we know well. As founders of this business over 15 years ago, we are passionate about its mission and committed to continuing its long track record that has enabled people across Spain to save time and money.”

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
