Hamburg, 4 March 2024 – Bauer Media Group today announced it has completed the sale of the Semergy Group, previously known as the SEO Group, to the WeNet Group. The Semergy Group is an online marketing solutions provider, focused on Polish business customers.

The divestment, which was announced in January 2024, has now received the necessary regulatory approvals from the Polish authorities. The financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.

Paul Keenan, Bauer Media Group Chief Operating Officer said: “This sale enables us to continue to focus on the ongoing digital transformation of our audio and publishing businesses which, alongside our online comparison platform business, will ensure we will maintain a strong presence in Poland.”
